Saturdays...

I am going to completely ignore the fact that is has been, what a year,  since I last posted.  So, I'm not consistent, sue me!

Here is my question- Who else wakes up Saturday morning with a mile long project list in their mind and the desire to finish said list by noon so as not to waste the whole day?
Please tell me that I am not the only one!!

Saturday Project #1

 Cute, right?  Well, as of Saturday, it became this:

Don't ask me why! I had 3 runners and too much Pinterest and voila!  And don't tell me it is crooked, because Alex already told me!

Saturday Project #2

This is supposed to be my attempt at a zinc paint finish.  The first picture, not so good.  It is not nearly this light.

 It really looks more like this:
much darker.  Do I love it?  um, like, not love.  It looks better this way in the room than the way it was before.  Oops, I forgot to take a before picture.  Trust me, this is better!
